Overview
A temporary opportunity to join a successful business as Credit Manager to cover short term absence (6-10 weeks). The role will require the individual to maintain a high level of credit underwriting, both by underwriting proposals falling within an individual mandate and by influencing quality and consistency across the team. Further responsibilities include… Support the Head of Risk in supporting and supervising the credit team Conduct due diligence on introducers, suppliers and portfolios Make recommendations on credit decisions Conduct appeal investigations and provide final decisions Provide mentoring/training where required. About the Company: A growing UK plc specialising in providing specific and competitive lending/finance products to UK SME’s. Key Skills/Experience Required: Proven experience managing/supervising in an underwriting environment. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical skills.
