Overview
Akton Recruitment are looking for an experienced Independent Living Assessor to join the local authority in Kensington. Your purpose is to review and provide a case management service to learning disabled adults with non-complex needs. Providing social care services, equipment and minor adaptations to people with learning disabilities. Promoting the independence and wellbeing of this service user group in the Royal Borough. This is a contracted full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. A total of 36 hours per week at a rate of £10.38 per hour with the initial contract ending 29/5/2020. It is essential you have previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, and experience working within a statutory setting is desirable. Skills Required: - Assessments - Effective Communicator - Health and Safety - Knowledge of the basic concepts of NHS &Community Care Act - Relevant experience of working with an Adult Social Care user group - Valid (12 Months) Enhanced DBS If you think this role would be great for you, get in touch
