TOOLMAKER WEST MIDLANDS COMPETITIVE SALARY MONDAY - FRIDAY - 7:30 - 4:30 - 12:30 FINISH ON FRIDAYS A market leading tooling supplier has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team. Working with this well-established brand you will be involved all aspects of tooling work within the press shop. Working from their well-established site based in the West Midlands, this role offers a stable and secure career path for motivated toolmakers. They always have busy order books and work on various different projects as individuals and as a team meaning that it is an upbeat and motivating workplace. Role & Responsibilities Preparation and maintenance of existing tooling according to requirements. Effectively identifies day to day tooling issues and implements corrective action where required. Cleaning of all production tooling to ensure on time delivery and schedule adherence goals are met. Ensures all tooling is safe and production ready at the time returned for production use, following correct preventative maintenance (PM) process. Ensures Leader is advised when assignments cannot be completed as planned. Supports coordination of engineering changes and supports maintenance of spare parts. Prepares and tests tools by laying out / setting up / machining Required Skills & Experience Experience with die castings Experience working in a press shop / Tooling environment Ability to work within a Team Environment This role offers a competitive salary as well as a very secure and stable career path.
