Overview

Are you a qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience in a change management capacity? Do you have experience in leading and delivering successful change, improving processes and ways of working within a team and with other teams? Do you possess experience of project management using a recognised project management methodology (eg Prince2, Lean, Six Sigma) We are looking for an experienced Finance Change Manager , for this 18-month interim contract, to join this unique and exciting but extremely complex organisation based in the heart of London. In this critical role you will be working across the Finance Operations team to develop and enhance processes, driving efficient working practices and improving service quality. The role is responsible for designing and implementing improved processes within an appropriate control framework, setting appropriate service delivery standards for each team and developing tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: Pro-actively work across the Finance department to improve efficiency, resilience and control across teams and working practices, designing and implementing new processes and solutions where applicable Work to optimise the quality and availability of financial information through reviewing how data is captured, input and reported Ensure new or changed processes are designed within an appropriate financial control framework balancing efficient working practices with robust and effective internal control procedures Ensure that financial policies are well-designed, regularly updated and appropriately applied across the whole organisation Develop service level agreements and targets for all core functions ensuring these are embedded in the team and understood by key stakeholders Develop and implement appropriate KPI reporting to monitor and measure compliance with SLAs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that data is captured in an appropriate way to facilitate this Deliver appropriate stakeholder communication plans, working with Internal Communications as appropriate to ensure changes are communicated clearly and effectively, promoting buy-in and compliance The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience. You will be an experienced change manager, well versed in business-processing mapping, process optimisation and re-engineering. You will 'know what good looks like’, be up-to-speed with industry best practice techniques and be able to foster a culture of sustainable change and continuous improvement. You will be always looking to improve processes and work smarter, collaborating with your finance colleagues to drive best practice. It is imperative that you have excellent IT skills are essential including advanced Excel and strong finance systems skills, SAP would be advantageous. You must possess strong process design skills - able to critically evaluate end-to-end processes whilst identifying opportunities for improvement and implement them. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for what you do and the ability to instil enthusiasm in others - working with a wide range of stakeholders to optimise solutions, achieve buy-in and promote excellence.
