Overview
As a successful Business and Programme Development Manager you will play a vital role in the mission to support excellence in higher education for the benefit of individuals and societies throughout the Commonwealth. This is a 12 month maternity cover role. The Charity An international organisation dedicated to building a better world through higher education. The Role Undertaking key areas of business development including market analysis and pursuit as agreed with the Head of new Business. Supporting key deliverables as part of the programme team portfolio. Working with the membership, communications, public affairs and programmes teams to identify business opportunities. To lead designated policy initiatives for new market areas. Work across business streams to design and develop high impact projects Manage client networks and relationships for strategic gain liaising with prospective partners and member universities Share knowledge and outcomes with internal and external stakeholders The Candidate Strong track record of successful grant and bid writing and a high standard of English. Strong track record of researching, identifying and cultivating funding opportunities. Strong track record in cultivating and managing stakeholder relationships. An understanding of issues in higher education, ideally in a developing country context and of trends in international development funding. Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills and a willingness to be adaptable as required to deliver completed tasks on time.
