Overview

Our client is an award winning Wealth Management business and is currently seeking an Investment Operations administrator. The duties associated with this role include: - Experience in trade processing, reconciliation and settlements. - Identification, investigation and resolution of discrepancies to ensure timely settlements. - Ensuring integrity and accuracy of the firm’s books and records. - Competent in performing reconciliations and following up on exceptions. - Developing and maintaining operational relationships with clients and third parties. - Ensuring accurate controls and records are maintained and documented as instructed by the Supervisor. - Ensure that systems, procedures and controls are followed to ensure compliance with FCA handbooks on regulations and guidance on best practice. - Initiate projects to improve processes and procedures within the team as appropriate. - Act as 'key business user’ on other projects such as system changes or new products. - Working with the business to minimise and clear outstanding items. - Resolving queries and providing technical support and advice to internal stakeholders - Completion of the daily (FCA Regulated) Client Money and asset reconciliations. - Completion of monthly CASS activities, CMAR, Resolution Pack and reconciliations. - Developing and improving MI reporting for Governance meetings. - Ad hoc project work and assisting with other administrative duties as required. Core skills: - Team player with strong communication skills - Strong 'problem solving’ skills to assist with resolving issues promptly. - Able to work under pressure and prioritise key tasks throughout the day. - Provide technical advice and help to resolve complex problems. The holder may personally assist in special cases, for example, to resolve a client complaint, or handle claims for compensation. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ investment administration experience, covering Settlements, Onboarding, Transfers and client money and asset reconciliations CASS exposure Educated to GCSE or A Level standard Studying for, or have obtained, Securities Institute examinations
