Overview
We are looking for Care Assistants & Companions for the Chesterfield Ashgate, Brampton, Brimington, Calow, Coal Aston, Dronfield and surrounding areas of Derbyshire. Our Business & why we do what we do: - My husband and I are very proud owners of an Award Winning, Companionship led care service in my local community in Chesterfield. We have been providing Companionship led care and support to Older People in their own home. For 8 Years now. We understand what it takes to provide the highest standard of care and go above and beyond for those that need support. Often an older person only receives help when it is in an emergency situation. We support older adults from the very moment they need it, it could be that they have lost their confidence, they could have memory problems, they could have an illness, or they have just become less bothered about life Really sad is this? That’s why I need you to carry on our good work in the local community and make a difference Could you? Could you help us provide a service to older adults which fits around their lifestyle, is perfectly flexible and allows them to carry on living independently in their own home? We match every one of our Care Assistants & Companions to our clients, often sharing similar interests or hobbies. We do this though to an extremely high standard. Because we match you to our clients you will build up a close relationship with each other, you won’t be strangers. Could you: - Have flexible, part-time, availability including some mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and weekends? Help someone with their housekeeping? Help someone prepare or cook a meal? Be a fantastic companion and friend? Support someone to wash and dress? Take someone out for the day maybe into Chesterfield, and enjoy the things they do? This is not a job, it is a vocation and to do this job you will need to be kind and compassionate, with a big heart It doesn’t matter how old you are, what job you have done in the past, or if you have never worked. If you can make an older person’s life brighter, feel great satisfaction from doing it, then you are exactly who we are looking for. How Do I apply?
