We are situated in a suburb of Chesterfield, right on the edge of the Peak District, we are a short drive from the centre and close to public transport This 110-bed home has both residential and nursing care for people who are living with dementia. We also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break, palliative care and specialist care for those with mental health conditions . Our dementia care is accredited as part of Four Seasons' Dementia Care Framework . You will be delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their hygiene, as well as ensuring they feel part of life in the home. This will see you providing care, warmth and kindness to help make a difference. You also will develop relationships with our residents’ relatives which will support you in understanding their needs more and developing that personal care. If you are a hardworking team player who wants to work in a thriving community, understand what is important to those you are caring for and make sure their lives are as happy as they can be, then the role of a Care Assistant could be perfect for you. If you possess these qualities then experience of working as a Care Assistant isn’t necessary.
