Overview
My client are an amazing creative agency based in Shoreditch that are seeking a Management Accountant to join them ASAP. The client work with some incredible brands and have amazing offices in a prime location, so this is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on. The role as Management Accountant is a replacement role in a small team where you will report into the FC and have full responsibility of the day to day tasks. These tasks include; preparation of management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments, client profitability analysis and management of WIP. Alongside this you will also take care of accounts payable, sales ledger, VAT returns, updating cash flow and supporting with ad-hoc projects as they arise. The role is all rounded and will need a good multi-tasker who can prioritise and handle pressure orientated deadlines. You will need to be commercial, system savvy and be confident on excel. The right candidate for this role will have demonstrated a minimum 1 year’s experience of preparation of management accounts in a fast paced industry- ideally an agency environment. My client are flexible on qualification but they are looking for someone ambitious and keen to progress. You will need to be a confident character, who is organised and has high attention to detail. Due to COVID19 the client is looking to interview virtually and get this person started ASAP by providing them a laptop and connected with the FC for a handover once started. You will therefore need to be on short notice (ideally no more than one week) and interested in a role that will require you to hit the ground running from home initially.
