This time the position has arisen due to an increase in new business which has prompted the North London office to recruit for a talented Semi Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be directly reporting to the Senior Accountant. Responsibilities of a Semi Senior Accountant: Preparing Year-End financial statements and accounts for review Working on a diverse portfolio of clients, including small and medium sized privately-owned limited companies, LLP’s, partnerships and sole traders Responsible for the preparation of some VAT returns and management accounts for a wide variety of clients Production of Management Accounts Extensive liaison with clients, client managers, other departments and partners Requirements of a Semi Senior Accountant: Minimum of three years’ UK public practice experience; five years’ if qualified by experience Ability to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines Benefits of the role of a Semi Senior Accountant include: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and either a day off for your birthday or cash Study support (if applicable) Loyalty bonus Christmas bonus Death in service benefit Flexible working hours (discretionary) Mentoring scheme Staff relaxation areas Dress down Fridays Perkbox Semi Senior Accountant - Top 100 Practice £32,000 - £36,000 per annum North London
