Senior Positive Behaviour Support Worker
Overview
As a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Worker at iMap, we are offering you a unique opportunity to be part of a specialist team at Fern House, our new registered children’s home set within the rural Cheshire. As a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Worker you will be expected to lead and mentor a small team of highly trained and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Workers to ensure compliance and the effective day to day running of Fern House. You will also help the children and young people to meet their intimate personal care needs, and work with the behavioural support team and complex care team in planning meetings and reviews for our individuals. About you • You will be a dynamic problem solver who can work well under pressure. • You should have significant previous experience working with people who have autism, an intellectual disability and/or who present with behaviours of concern. • You should have previous experience in a line management role. • You must already hold a QCF III Working with Children and Young People or equivalent. • You will have a good working and theoretical knowledge of positive behaviour support and interventions relating to behaviours of concern, and be willing to complete a QCF III Positive Behaviour Support once you’ve joined iMap. • You will have fantastic communication skills and be at ease working within a team.
