Overview
Credit Controller - Permanent (Slough) Our client are a leading Care Services Provider, with a highly successful and long standing history within the industry. They are searching for a Credit Controller to join their small Finance team and support with Credit Control responsibilities for the business, as well as providing some general accounts support to the team. Key Features of role: Chasing outstanding debt, mainly with Local Authorities; Allocating all cash appropriately; A forecast of the coming months expected receipts; Reconciliation of the receivable ledgers for group companies; Aged debtors reconciliations Reconciliation of the monthly sales reports Providing a list of the balances likely to require provision Supporting team with General Accounting functions Skills required: Minimum of 2 years’ of experience in Credit and Collections - will be an advantage if you have experience of dealing with Local Authorities; Proven experience in account reconciliation, dispute resolution, credit analysis and collecting on all stages of delinquency. Ability, desire and experience to negotiate and communicate by phone with customers and send professional emails; Thorough understanding of Credit and Collections Principles and Laws. Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with an emphasis on the ability to prepare and analyse data using Excel spreadsheets. Must be detail-oriented and possess strong time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and with a small finance group of (people, and happy to assist or help other members of the team when required). Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work on their own initiative This role offers core working hours of Monday - Friday (9.00am-5.00pm) and is based in Burnham (Slough). We are able to offer an immediate job start with this position.
