Overview

Parkside are currently assisting a well known Commercial company within the FMCG sector with their search for a Credit Administrator on a contractual basis for 6 months. The client will also consider a strong Accounts Administrator/Assistant with experience within collections who has come from an FMCG/Retail background ideally. Experience of using the Oracle system is also essential Please note that the first 2 weeks of this position will be based from their London officer in Tottenham Court Road. The role will then be located in close by to Slough station for the rest of the contract. Based in the licensing finance team, your key responsibilities will include: Dealing with invoicing, royalties and collections and chasing payments and invoices on a regular basis Working to target focused, monthly and quarterly deadlines Chasing payments by phone and email Raising invoices daily Dealing with multi-currencies GBP, EUR, USD Assisting with cash allocations Risk Assessment duties including checking customer credit records and dealing with internal queries around payments and repayment plans Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management Undertaking account reconciliations as required Person Specification: Collections experience in a similar role of a minimum 2 years plus Educated to Degree level in Finance or a related subject (or equivalent work experience) Oracle experience is essential Strong written and oral communication skills Strong time management and organisational skills The ability to work in a team and individually The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Parkside Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
