Overview
This Service offers a supportive living and learning environment for young adults who have severe and profound learning difficulties and is one of the few services in the country that is also able to support those with complex health needs and associated difficulties. As a night or day support worker your role will involve: Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities including washing dressing, socialising and learning, washing/personal care and ensuring care during the night. Assisting the young adults during hydrotherapy and rebound therapy sessions Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the young adults to grow and develop Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable This is an incredibly challenging yet rewarding role, the duties will vary due to the nature of the position- you must be willing to lend a hand wherever is required.
