Children/Young person’s Support Worker, South Cambridgeshire near Royston up to £19,670 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications Night supplement of £2,730 per annum available Full or Part time available A wonderful opportunity for the right person to make a positive difference in the life of children and young adults with complex needs. You could gain valuable experience and qualifications in this role. The Role: · Providing exceptional care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, washing/personal care. · Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy. · Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the children and young adults to be free to grow and develop. · Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable. · Helping to develop their learning and social skills wherever possible. · Working in line with a rota pattern, typically including every other weekend. This beautiful setting provides education, care and therapeutic support for children and young adults with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.
