Interim Finance Manager/Management Accountant

Overview
Interim Management Accountant required to start with our client as soon as possible - 6 month contract available Skilled Accountant with manufacturing and costing experience - client based in Nottingham - 40 - 45k (poss some flex on this for a suitably experienced candidate.) Key responsibilities: Reconciliation of stock & posting of reconciliation journals. Costing - producing accurate & timely costs for manufactured items. Fixed asset register, calculating depreciation charges each month, and posting to the General Ledger. Coding of Invoices received to the General Ledger on a daily basis to ensure costs are coded correctly Calculation of accruals & prepayments for the month end accounts. Preparation of the Management Accounts/analysing any resulting variances against budget. Assisting in preparing and reviewing Control accounts each period, and posting adjustments. Year end prep for the auditors Cash position reporting VAT return This role is varied, and working within a forward thinking and ambitious business based in Nottingham - initially offered as a 6 month role to the successful candidate. It is likely you already have experience in similar interim roles and specifically enjoy contracting as our client would like to ensure commitment to the length of the contract.
