Director, People Shared Services / UK People Operations Lead About your role: As UK Shared Services / People Operations Lead , you will play a key role to define strategy and deliver People Operations to the UK business of more than 1000 people. Reporting to the Director International People Operations, you will lead a team of seven, and own the delivery of the team’s broad service catalogue - across both Lifecycle and Talent operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, stakeholder management, people management, and operational skills, and have a passion for working in an open, collaborative culture. For the successful candidate, this role offers a huge opportunity to make a lasting impact on a growing business, and have a great time doing it Key Responsibilities: Aligns our Publicis Sapient purpose and Digital Business Transformation (DBT) Strategy, with our UK People Operations work. Shapes a vision and delivers a strategy to bring it to reality. Uses Objective and Key Results (OKR’s) to prioritise, communicate and deliver quarterly impact across people experience, compliance and ultimately business results. Responsible for leading delivering our broad service catalogue across both Lifecycle and Talent Operations. The Lifecycle track covers all key people events from onboarding to exit, including family friendly policies, sickness management and people compliance. Talent Operations supports our Business Partner team to help drive engagement and people growth across activities such as merit, promotions, Talent Review, and retention management. Drives operational excellence leveraging people, process improvement, technology and the power of data. Uses agile approach to make change fast Leads, coaches and mentors the UK team, consisting of seven associate and senior associates. Creates a culture that champions our Core Values and lives our purpose. Build strong relationships with leads across the UK business, the UK People Teams, and especially our Business Partners. Able to influence and act as a true partner. Represents the UK as part of the regional and Global People Operations teams, working smart to harness the power of this global team. Responsible for project managing special initiatives such as Mergers & Acquisitions, global CSR reporting and the establishment of new global services including Incident Reponses Service. Defines and manage annual budget, making decisions to ensure best return on investment. Develops close relationship with employees across the organization, to be the ears on the ground, and ensuring our work always acts to enable their success. Requirements: Extensive experience in HR Operations / Shared Services across both Lifecycle and Talent operations. Strong fit with our core values and purpose. Ability to work in a complex global matrix structure. Proven experience in team management, enabling a happy and high performing team, and taking them to the next level. A passion for delivering innovative people operations - creating great people experiences and enabling business strategy. Embraces change and is comfortable operating in ambiguity. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to form trusted relationships at all levels. Excellent operational skills including track record in identifying opportunities and delivering change through process improvement. Strong understanding of employment law Excellent Project Management skills with ability to scope, prioritise, plan, track and manage issues and risks. Possess excellent analytical skills and ability to convert data into insights and solutions. Capable of handling difficult and sensitive conversations with people and leadership. Curious by nature, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
