Overview
Position: HGV Mechanic Location: Glasgow (Spingburn) Hours: 6am to 4pm 12pm to 10pm (Friday 10am to 8pm Sat 7am to 1pm) 1 wk 45hrs, 2nd week 51.75 (average 48.25 hr week) Salary: - £34,875- £36,029 DOE year basic (hr rate £13.90 - £14.36), overtime paid at x 2 on Sundays (£24 - £28) normal hr rate weekdays/sats - Money will be reviewed after 6 months Shift: Early/Lates Due to their continued success, my client is seeking a fully skilled HGV Technician to join their team. The successful HGV Technician will work on early and late shifts, with overtime available in order to increase earnings. The newest HGV Technician to join this friendly and welcoming team will be required to: • Fully inspect vehicles in the workshop, identifying any defects and correcting where necessary • Undertake vehicle repairs when they arise • Carry out pre-planned servicing and MOT preparations The hours on offer for the successful HGV Technician will be an early and late rotation, with shifts of 6am to 4pm and 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday (8pm finisg Friday), with alternate Saturdays The successful HGV Technician will earn a basic salary of £34,875- £36,029 DOE, with overtime available to substantially increase your earnings. In order to be considered for the role of HGV Technician, you will hold a full, industry recognised qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service, Maintenance and Repair), and a commercial driving license would be an advantage, although not essential.
