Overview

Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for their expanding Wireless team in the UK. The candidate will lead the project team and act as the primary client interface. They will be joining a very experienced team of talented individuals with expertise across a wide variety of engineering disciplines and proven success in delivering large scale projects. Responsibilities include: • Ensure the project is delivered in compliance with current H&S Regulations • Manage the delivery of the project from start to finish including Client acceptance • Responsible for ensuring profitability and managing job costs • Ensure customers’ expectations are fulfilled & build confidence & trust • Build & lead project team • Manage project scope, budget & schedule • Define resource requirements • Working closely with the project director on key stages of the project and ad-hoc direction • Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing of the project • Define & continually improve project processes • Apply new technology in an innovative way to streamline delivery processes • Develop new business opportunities • Establish, refine & evolve project tracking & reporting tools • Project reporting to Client, 4site Senior Management Team & 4site Project Team • Drive program delivery from one phase to the next • Manage partners/suppliers/sub-contractors & review performance • Support the HSEQ Manager as required ensuring compliance with Company Policy at all times • Liaise with client on site designs & technical requirements • Support the commercial team in preparing quotations and bids Compile GRN Claim for submission at month end to facilitate prompt invoicing and minimise WIP accrual Qualifications: • Demonstrable industry experience or 3rd Level degree with focus on engineering / telecoms • Evidence of on-going professional development • PMP or Prince 2 or Project Management P.G Dip or Masters an advantage • A broad knowledge and understanding of the various site solutions, emerging technologies and passive/active infrastructure as part of wireless network rollout • Experience: • 10 to 15 years in a similar customer facing role during network rollouts • Excellent knowledge of Acquisition, Planning, Design, Build and Operations phases • Excellent written and spoken English required • Full clean driving licence If this role is of interest to you then email your CV to Jimmy Holly at TRS Staffing for a confidential call back.
