Warehouse Operatives WANTED in Longparish
Overview
Employment Partners are looking for a hard working Warehouse Operative, in the Andover area. You must be willing to use your initiative, undergo new training and work hard in support of a very busy team. This role would be an ongoing role Monday to Friday. The candidate will be paid £9.40 an hour for the first 3 months, this rate will then increase to an hourly rate of £10.00 - £10.90. Morning shift : 5:45 – 14:15 Late shift :13:45 – 22:15 Own transport essential due to rural location. Job Summary: The job entails carrying out a variety of factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure production is maintained to the highest level. The role of Warehouse Operative is wide ranging and offers a great deal of variety. Training is encouraged, and will be provided on an ongoing basis. Main Responsibilities: Carry out daily checks on all parts of the factory. Operate large 360 degree loading equipment safely and efficiently. Operate fork lift safely and efficiently. Operate telescopic loading equipment safely and efficiently. Learn to operate the bagging and drying equipment safely and efficiently. Be able to deal with any fault with the basic equipment, to ensure the factory keeps running. Ensure the plant and factory is kept in a clean and safe state. Ensure all quality criteria are met. Carry out any preventative maintenance and daily checks on all parts of the factory. Skills Required: Forklift drivers licence essential. (MUST be valid and certified with a recognised company I.E ITSTAR / RTITB, no in-house licenses.) The candidate will be paid weekly via payroll provider.
