Warehouse Operatives WANTED
Overview
Employment Partners are looking for a hard working warehouse operative in the Andover area. You must be willing to use your initiative, undergo new training and work hard in support of a very busy team. This role would be an ongoing role Monday to Friday. The candidate will be paid £9.40 an hour for the first 3 months, this rate will then increase to an hourly arte of £10.00 - £10.90. Morning shift : 5:45 - 14:15 Late shift :13:45 - 22:15 Own transport essential due to rural location. Job Summary The job entails carrying out a variety of factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure production is maintained to the highest level. The role of Production Operative is wide ranging and offers a great deal of variety. Training is encouraged and will be provided on an ongoing basis. Main Responsibilities - Carry out daily checks on all parts of the factory. - Operate large 360 degree loading equipment safely and efficiently. - Operate fork lift safely and efficiently. - Operate telescopic loading equipment safely and efficiently. - Learn to operate the bagging and drying equipment safely and efficiently. - Be able to deal with any fault with the basic equipment, to ensure the factory keeps running. - Ensure the plant and factory is kept in a clean and safe state. - Ensure all quality criteria are met. - Carry out any preventative maintenance and daily checks on all parts of the factory. Skills Required Forklift drivers licence essential (MUST be valid and certified with a recognised company I.E ITSTAR / RTITB, no in-house licenses) The candidate will be paid weekly via payroll provider.
