DevOps Engineer(AWS/Docker) - Own the Function A rapidly scaling Fintech firm who have built a cloud-hosted SAAS peer lending platform is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the company and completely own their Operations team and function as they grow to help with managing, automating and scaling their infrastructure. These guys have built an extremely clever web-based property lending platform that allows the public to act as investors in private property investments; allowing investors to crowdsource funding for investments whilst giving investors set returns. With the platform taking off due to high growth their web application has received a massive jump in traffic and therefore, to ensure they can maintain their growth they are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale and automate all aspects of infrastructure and deployment. Therefore, coming in as a DevOps Engineer you will be leading the operations team to ensure availability of the platform through monitoring and automation. Whilst working closely with developers working to automate deployment of new features setting up continuous integration and delivery pipelines learning technologies such as AWS, ansible, Jenkins, kubernetes. The successful DevOps Engineer will have: Strong Experience supporting Linux Systems: Red hat/ centos Confident at scripting: python, bash, Perl Confident supporting virtual platforms: VMware, AWS, Azure Experience with configuration management tools: Puppet, chef, Ansible Working in a production CI/Cd environment: Jenkins, Maven, bamboo This is a great opportunity for any DevOps engineer to move into Lead/ 'Head Of' position taking ownership of the operations team being involved in not only scaling the infrastructure but the team as well; whilst also having to say on technical direction and tooling The company is on the bleeding edge of technology working on cloud-based microservices and you will have a brilliant opportunity to not only grow in terms of seniority but also technically working with Kubernetes and AWS.
