THE COMPANY - A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy - An experienced team of over 150 members of staff, based in their Central London office - They work on a wide range of projects including commercial offices, Data Centres, Major Hotels and Commercial projects - Working in a modern office with a cracking culture and environment - International company with offices all over the world KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - The Senior Electrical Engineer will be liaising with the clients, architects and the engineering teams to ensure projects meet expectations within the set deadline - Providing training and managing younger members of the team. - Assisting with design development and calculations on high value projects - Accurately creating technical drawings in accordance with client briefs using programmes such as Amtech and Dialux - Responsible for undertaking electrical services design including lighting, small power, fire alarms, CCTV and security systems - The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be tasked with running their own projects and managing all the preconstruction design stages. - An understanding of UPS and standby generation. SKILLS AND BACKGROUND - At least 4 years Building Services (MEP) background either within a Contractor or Consultancy - Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical engineering or Building Services - Knowledge of UK Standards and Specifications. - Must be a Chartered Engineer - Experience of working on mission critical projects such as data centres, labs or pharmaceutical development is beneficial.
