Overview

A Global Pharmaceutical company based in Uxbridge is currently looking to recruit a Health Economist to join their team. We are seeking a talented individual who is ready to hit the ground running on a 19 week contract focused on developing and implementing robust market access and pricing strategies. Responsibilities include: Taking the lead on Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) submissions for company products Managing external HTA relations in terms of driving performance to time and budget and ensuring high quality deliverables Participating in high level industry forums Supporting the marketing strategies for the company products by understanding needs of local and national market access for business success by developing field-based tools that help to increase the economic value of the product on the market Understanding the global drug development and clinical trial design for the purpose of generating the feedback into the global evidence generation strategies in order to fix the local and global value propositions which will help the company to come up with the products that will meet the needs of patients, prescribers, payers and policy makers Management of results from research and real-world evidence (RWE) studies to support HTA submissions Creating the plans for study protocols and statistical analysis Managing budgets Skills and knowledge: Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry Post-graduate qualification in health economics, and/or health policy Strong numerical skills with experience of leading on health economics modelling Technical expertise in UK and Ireland reimbursement processes Excellent communication skills Previous experience working with reimbursement stakeholders Experience of immunology, oncology and/or rare diseases desirable Ability to multitask and prioritise projects Strategic and analytical skills Leadership skills Park Street People Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
