Overview

Summary Our client in Alton is looking to recruit two Insurance Claims Handlers to join them on a permanent basis. You will be providing advice & support to policy holders regarding repairs to their property following an home insurance claim. You will manage the claim through to completion. Job role and responsibilities This is a busy role where you will be: Providing an excellent customer service to policyholders / homeowners who have made a claim on their home insurance policy due to insured damage Assisting with arranging appointments for surveyors, suppliers and tradespeople to visit the property and carry out the required repairs Taking ownership and managing a case load of property repairs What skills/experience will you need? Ideally you will have some experience of home insurance claims handling, however, will also consider candidate with other office based customer service experience Confident communication skills The ability to demonstrate empathy We would welcome applications from candidates who have experience scheduling repairs Good IT skills as a number of systems are used Package details Salary of £18,000 - £25,000, depending on experience.
