Assistant Service Manager – Tall Trees, Ottershaw (Chertsey) £22,725 per annum benefits Welmede, part of the Avenues Trust Group, is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life. We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Ottershaw (Chertsey), Surrey to assist with management of our service Tall Trees. Tall Trees is a registered care home for 2 gentleman who we support with learning and physical disabilities, ASD, sensory and health needs and limited communication. The service is located in a quiet area next door to another Welmede service and is near to St Peter’s hospital. The people we support require support with personal care, medication, meals, planning activities, finances and attending appointments. As well as supporting the people day to day, the role will include supporting the manager with the running of the home, organising rotas, staff probation reviews, supervisions, team meetings, updating support plans, risk assessments, fire and health and safety checks, maintenance reporting and being proactive on how to improve the support we provide. Due to the nature of this position it is essential for applicants to hold a full valid driving licence and ideally have access to their own vehicle.
