Overview
This role is for an experienced ERP Consultant with good manufacturing expertise which covers some of the following: BOMs, Routings, Workflows, Make-to-Order, MTS, Engineering change management, CTO, SFDC, Quality systems, KANBAN etc. You will be implementing the Epicor ERP solution at client sites throughout the UK and occasionally in Europe, so you should be happy to travel. Salary to £60k plus car allowance and private health care, home based south of Birmingham. Oxford is just a marking point you can live anywhere from Birmingham to the South Coast. They are looking for a Manufacturing ERP Consultant who understands and can interpret clients' requirements and configure the solution to fit, work to project plans, produce high quality documentation, implement Epicor ERP software and train the users. You will have good MS office skills, particularly Excel, you can interrogate data using report queries/SQL, communicate with all levels of staff and give good presentations, get the client on side and work closely with the rest of the team. Your background: Full ERP Implementations with solutions like Infor, eFacs, Syteline, Dynamics AX, Sage 1000, Sage EM, Epicor, Exact, Dynamics NAV, SAP Business One, IFS, ECi M1, QAD, NetSuite or similar Any Epicor experience (Vantage, 10.2, e10 or e9) would be a bonus Strong manufacturing experience with an understanding of Bill of Materials, Make-to Order, MTS, Workflows, CTO, etc. with the ability to question and understand manufacturing operations Client facing, a good communicator, professional, decisive, committed and motivated Happy travelling to client sites and staying away when required Epicor ERP is very strong as a manufacturing solution especially in the make to order market. So they do very well with areas like medical devices, circuit board manufacturers, cab builders, cladding manufacturing companies, granite work top companies and so forth. Epicor is also very strong as a finance solution and covers multi-company, multi-currency consolidation. It is very strong on budgeting and forecasting and offers both top down and bottom up budgeting. It is also an excellent ERP tool for creating reports. They have recently won a massive deal on the south coast worth over £500k with an industrial manufacturing plant, which is 400 days of consulting covering manufacturing, distribution and finance. They are a huge make to order manufacturing site and this role is to work on the specification and requirements of the manufacturing processes, then the training and the go live. They have another new deal they are signing with a significant manufacturing company with a 300 day project near Peterborough involving discrete manufacturing and assembly, plus a couple nearer to the Midlands, so there is plenty to get your teeth into.
