Overview
Award-winning Springfield Properties Plc are looking to recruit Setting Out Engineers for our developments across the North of Scotland. The position provides a great opportunity to work as part of our growing Civils team whilst playing an integral role in delivering private and partnership housing. Duties include accurate setting out of all works within a house building environment, carrying out full topographical surveys, controlling of site construction issue drawings, preparation of material take off’s for site personnel, recording all works to process valuations and ensuring adherence to our quality management standards and procedures, amongst other responsibilities. This may develop into a supervisory role assuming the appropriate candidate. Candidates should have a strong work ethic and excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role, relevant qualifications and a full, clean driving license are essential. It is preferred that candidates hold a valid CSCS card.
