Overview
Are you a DevOps Engineer interested in designing infrastructure for millions of users? Want to be part of a team that values you and your contributions? An opportunity has opened for a DevOps Engineer to join an internationally renowned sports and entertainment tech provider in their central London head office. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for mobile app development and implementing the latest technologies. This role will give you the chance to work with highly skilled developers, product owners and QAs in a collaborative and Agile environment. You will take ownership of the applications in your portfolio, defining key metrics with internal and external stakeholders to make real and significant impacts company wide. Key Responsibilities: Providing technical guidance and support to development teams. Performing system monitoring, verifying the availability and integrity of all servers, systems and key processes. Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure and configuration for applications. Collaborate effectively with a global tech team to achieve full migration from windows to Linux. Constantly look to improve, taking the initiative to implement the latest technologies where relevant. Skills and Requirements: Commercial experience with AWS CloudFormation and related services (e.g. VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Route53, CloudFront, CloudWatch and IAM). Ability to deal with new and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities. Excellent hands on exposure to Linux and Windows Server management. Knowledge of infrastructure, virtualisation and networking (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, DNS, Terraform). Scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python).
