Overview

We currently have a fantastic team of "face to face" Financial Advisers based throughout the UK. In response to client demand, we are excited to be hiring for the team in the South East of the UK. On a daily basis you will be in contact with our valued clients offering well respected and industry recognised advice. You will be conscious of regulation and compliance whilst being passionate about client service and the advice you are offering. You will be provided at the outset with an existing advisory client bank in your area, along with marketing leads generated by the business. In addition, you will be expected to use these resources and your prior knowledge of HL, to help self-generate business in the longer term. This role provides the framework and freedom for you to develop your own business with the security of the Hargreaves Lansdown brand. Key duties and responsibilities: Meet the requirements of the training and competence scheme in order to advise on an ongoing basis Qualified by professional examination to CII Regulated Diploma or equivalent level Application of Hargreaves Lansdown company culture and our Treating Clients Fairly approach Able to assist clients to make informed buying decisions Commercial approach to all aspects of business Maintenance of a professional appearance and approach when representing Hargreaves Lansdown Meet all company standards in relation to dealing with clients and enquiries Operate within licensing restrictions and approved areas of advice at all times Requirements Knowledge experience and skills Essential Qualified by professional examination to CII Regulated Diploma or equivalent-(Level 4) Wide technical knowledge around all areas of advice, including investments, pensions and estate planning Relevant advisory experience Experience in advising clients on investments, savings, pensions and estate planning Evidenced success in previous advisory roles Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong administration and organisational skills Good attention to detail Personable Highly organised and commercial Proactive and reliable Desirable Qualified by professional examination to CII Regulated Chartered or equivalent-(Level 6) Understanding and knowledge of HL Products PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE PERFORMS A 'CERTIFIED FUNCTION' UNDER SMCR, AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO ENHANCED ASSESSMENT CRITERIA.
