This is a unique opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic business-facing organization, working to get CDP’s messages across to our key audiences. The successful candidate will play a lead role within our global team, which is responsible for CDP’s external global communications and marketing. You will be a results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider global team. The successful candidate will lead, oversee and manage CDP’s digital channels across target regions globally. They will also lead and support the development, implementation and evaluation of digital communications and marketing strategies, in line with CDP’s strategic plan. Key responsibilities include: Lead, oversee and manage CDP’s digital channels, evolving CDP’s approach to engaging with users, ensuring that all channels follow best practice and deliver maximum value; Lead and support the development, implementation and evaluation of digital communications and marketing strategies across target regions globally; Support the development of integrated multi-channel global communication and marketing plans, sometimes in collaboration with partner organizations; Work with the content and communications teams centrally and globally to ensure coordinated planning and maximum impact of all digital activity; Through ongoing monitoring, assess the effectiveness of digital channels. With knowledge of emerging digital trends, recognize CDP patterns and evolve digital activity accordingly; Proactively build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders both inside and outside the organization to raise awareness and understanding of digital strategies and principles, and leverage full value from key external partners; Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager and Senior Content Manager to ensure a holistic approach to all planning and activity; Lead, oversee and support global communications colleagues in developing and delivering digital plans in key markets (e.g. Europe, North America, Latin America, SE Asia); Take a leading role in demonstrating digital improvement across the organization; and Lead and line manage the Digital Manager. Required skills and experience: Substantial experience in digital communications and marketing; Strong experience of developing, implementing and evaluating highly successful multi-channel communications and marketing strategies and campaigns; Strong analytical mind with the ability to turn complex information into compelling stories and content; Extensive experience in promoting content on a wide range of digital and traditional platforms; Solid and demonstrable experience and interest in all digital channels; Creative approach for impactful communications in a complex and competitive global landscape; Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships both internally and externally, including complex multi-stakeholder relationships; Excellent team skills and the flexibility to work across the business and with global offices; Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple project and stakeholder demands simultaneously; Meticulous attention to detail; Fluency in written and spoken English; and At least the equivalent of 8 years of relevant experience in digital communications and marketing. Desired skills and experience: Experience working with global corporations, cities or national or local government; Experience working as part of a global team; This is a full time role based at CDP’s London office reporting to the Global Director of Communications and Marketing. Salary and benefits: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
