Overview
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Location: London You will be working on an innovative reference management system which has revolutionized the writing process. Workspace consists of a cohesive ecosystem of a website, browser plugins, desktop application, mobile apps, and plugins for popular authoring tools (Word for mac and windows, Google Docs, Manuscripts, etc.). All of these systems work together to provide users with seamless access to their references and projects. Users are able to collect, use, and edit references and collaborate with co-authors with any part of the system. My client are currently seeking a talented, self-motivated Senior C++ Developer to join our Workspace desktop team. The position will be based in London The primary role of the applicant involves developing new features, and maintenance for a cross platform desktop application which integrates with a variety of applications and communicates with a backend API. You will be working on an innovative reference management system which has revolutionized the writing process. Workspace consists of a cohesive ecosystem of a website, browser plugins, desktop application, mobile apps, and plugins for popular authoring tools (Word for mac and windows, Google Docs, Manuscripts, etc.). All of these systems work together to provide users with seamless access to their references and projects. Users are able to collect, use, and edit references and collaborate with co-authors with any part of the system. Must haves: · Significant and demonstrable C++ programming. C++11 experience is preferred. · Working knowledge of STL. · Commercial C++ coding experience. Experience with Qt. Ability to develop for Windows, Mac, and/or Linux. Full Lifecycle Software Development experience. Desirables: · Experience within an Agile environment. · GUI Development - Qt, MFC etc. · Experience with continuous integration and versioning control tools.
