My client provides inspirational career experience programmes for school and university students. Founded in 2012, they have had over 35,000 students walk through their doors from more than 2000 schools, colleges and universities, both UK based and international. More than 350 professionals from the fields of Investment Banking, Law, Medicine, Engineering, Politics, Journalism and more have contributed to their programmes. The Role: The business aims to be the world’s number 1 provider of immersive, educational experiences. They believe that to learn is to experience. Their mission is to deliver professional experiences to young people that they would otherwise consider a far-flung fantasy. In this role you’ll be the person who keeps the business moving, as well supporting with events logistics, you’ll take control of a number of office operations including finance and onboarding duties. Responsibilities: Diary Management: Booking meetings internally and externally with clients and colleagues Ensuring all teams diaries are in sync and everyone is aware of upcoming events and deadlines for their live events Venue management for the live events Health and Safety: ensuring the office is compliant working with a third-party specialist On boarding new starters; IT, equipment and payroll Establishing an inventory system to ensure everything is organised and kept track off for live events Ensuring all supplier invoices are paid General office administration About you: To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a passion for developing young people to fulfil their potential. Requirements: Strong academics, 2.1 or above in your degree and BBC at A-Level Experience in an operations, logistics or office management role A strong commitment to giving 5 customer service at all times Fantastic multi-tasking skills Experience in customer service or student ambassador work or tutoring A challenging mindset - the desire to improve the business and what they’re doing
