Senior Analyst, Regulatory and Transaction Reporting - CB Markets Operations Do you recognise phrases like the Dodd Frank Act or MIFID II and want to be part of a team which help protects the bank from regulatory censure? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in Commercial Banking within Markets and Lending Delivery (MLD), responsible for ensuring the regulatory reporting obligations of the Commercial Bank and Group Corporate Treasury are met. You'll ensure submissions to a number of major regulators are timeous and accurate for regulations such as Dodd Frank, EMIR and MiFID II Transaction Reporting. The team is a growing function operating in a fast-paced environment and playing a pivotal role by acting as the interface between CB and various functions across MLD. There is a clear focus on providing an outstanding service to external customers and regulators while attaining the highest standard of operational excellence. You'll gain opportunities to support a vast range of activities that span across, FX, OTC derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equities which offers fantastic development prospects. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting Quality Assurance activity across all regulations including performing data analysis and applying regulatory knowledge to business scenarios to identify potential reporting issues. Performing and presenting detailed analysis on any potential issues providing evidence to support conclusions arrived, supporting any necessary back-reporting work which may be identified Working to provide resolutions to partner queries, applying business insight to ensure a complete end to end service is provided. Managing key client relationships taking forward issue resolution and implementing efficient solutions. Providing a central point of contact between the CB Markets and internal support functions across Markets Operations. Resolving and escalating queries and issues within the team, act in a timely and diligent manner Essential Capabilities You'll Bring: High level regulatory interest, awareness and knowledge including previous experience of transaction reporting: MIFID II and EMIR preferred Excellent analytical and presentation skills - both written and verbal. Ability to multi task and prioritise BAU workflow within tight deadlines. Keen problem solver with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail Advanced Excel skills essential, VBA skills preferred Good understanding of Compliance frameworks / Awareness of the internal risk and control framework, policies and procedures including audit and SOX requirements. Good partnering and interpersonal skills to liaise with other LBG colleagues and teams as well as external clients showing professionalism and a client first attitude Experience of using UnaVista preferred but not essential In line with our strategy to be the Best Bank for Colleagues, MLD encourages a culture of professional development. In this role you may be required to provide support between the hours of 08.00 and 22.00, the specific requirement to be discussed at the interview.
