Are you an experienced Software Manufacturing Support Engineer, looking for a challenging and rewarding new role, within an exciting and dynamic Company? Bladon Micro Turbine are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our inhouse Software team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative Engineering Company and use your skills and extensive knowledge within a supportive, engaging environment. The role will provide support to manufacturing and service teams on software/electronics related issues (build/programming/calibration/End of line test). The right candidate will initiate structured problem solving and liaise with the software team members to generate interim and permanent corrective actions. The role will also own software configuration of HMI components. Key Responsibilities; Act as the initial point of contact for any software related issues from the manufacturing or service team Provide timely support and responses to the manufacturing and service teams regarding software and electronics related issues (build/End of line test/In field) Initiate structured problem-solving approach (8D) and track progress Liaise with software team members on interim and permanent corrective actions Own software configuration of HMI components Manufacturing Support Engineer | Software | End of Line Test | Problem Solving | HMI | CAN bus | PLC | Support | Engineering | Electronic | Analysis | Vector | Busmaster | Programming Benefits Private Healthcare / Pension / Life Assurance / 33 Days Holiday inc. Bank Holidays Additional Information 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday Essential Skills Qualifications & Experience; Engineering related Degree qualified with several years' relevant industry experience is essential Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Demonstrable experience solving volume manufacturing daily issues with a pragmatic approach Experienced in the use of structured problem-solving techniques Technical Knowledge of CAN bus Good understanding of basic electronic Subsystems applied to a power product Experience using CAN bus analysis tools (Vector preferred, Busmaster) Any knowledge of PLC programming an advantage About Company Bladon Jets is a world leader in micro gas turbines, a new generation of green and efficient power unit.
