Overview

We are looking for a Data Manager to ensure the timely implementation of global data management processes and accurate creation/maintenance of data into appropriate databases. He/she ensures that data is managed in accordance with the appropriate KONE Way process requirements and that all data adheres to the Master Data Management team standards (Appropriate, Adequate, Accurate) as well as KONE quality requirements. Data may be collected from the following sources: customers; suppliers; products; material; equipment. A Data Manager may lead a team of data professionals. Responsibilities and key activities : · Ensure that the KONE Data Management strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets. · Within the Unit, ensure the implementation of, and ongoing application and adherence to the structured and centralized global data processes applicable to the type of data being managed · Maintain the applicable data model(s). · Contribute to the country standard definitions · Validate the mass upload of data according to the applicable data management process. · Identify and close gaps between required global and existing local data management processes. · Actively contribute to the change management/communication requirements whenever there is a change in the data management process. · Control the application of the applicable KONE Way Data Management global processes · Monitor and control data creation and maintenance within the unit. · Maintain integrity and quality by ensuring all data adheres to the Master Data Management team standards (Appropriate, Adequate and Accurate) standards as well as KONE quality requirements. · Implement corrective actions and improve areas identified as needing improvement by the global data management teams (MDM team dashboards, corporate KPIs, etc…) in accordance with the KONE Quality Manual procedure and ensure timely and accurate completion. · Implement annual data management plans for data quality improvements. · Budget and plan for appropriate data cleaning activities that require significant resource allocation. · Propose preventive/corrective actions to the local Quality Improvement Team (QIT). · May lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of data management professionals according to KONE HR policies and to achieve established goals and ensure Appropriate, Adequate and Accurate data. · Develop and maintain strong connections with other colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future data requirements.
