Overview

Duties will include: • Purchase invoice processing, posting, GL coding and obtaining authorisation • Update the cash book and balance to the bank statement daily and at month end • Check shipment invoices received, send invoices and packing lists to the Shipping agent for the preparation of Customs entry • Prepare payments for container clearing • Processing Employee expenses, including matching VAT receipts • Managing payment of supplier payment runs • Assist with month end duties including accruals, prepayments, and posting journals • Reconcile the intercompany account on a monthly basis • Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliation • Assisting with cost analysis and cashflow forecast • Assisting with EC Sales list and Direct debit collection from customers • Other ad hoc accounts and admin duties as required, including covering for credit control Experience and skills required: • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role in a B2B environment • AAT Qualified or equivalent is preferred • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload • Excellent communicator at all levels, and a good team player • Ideally SAP experience and an intermediate understanding of MS Excel • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Process oriented with the ability to see a task through to completion
