Overview
Are you an experienced Accounts Cashier or Sales Ledger Clerk looking for a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join an accounting team at the head office of a Milton Keynes based retail group. This Accounts Cashier role can offer progression and a chance to work with a growing company and more importantly, a great team. So, if you are an enthusiastic person with excellent attention to detail, this is the role for you As the Accounts Cashier, you will: Receive, sort and log daily banking from sites Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites Correctly allocate payments against relevant outstanding SL accounts Reconcile cash suspense accounts Investigate and resolve queries quickly and efficiently Resolve internal queries professionally, quickly and efficiently Keep all filing up to date Highlight to the Finance Manager and/or Group Financial Controller of any known financial risk to the business Ensure that all systems and procedures in place within the business comply with current legislation and Group policy Ideally you will have recent experience of working in a similar role in an Accounts department and have a good knowledge of operating computerised systems and spreadsheet applications.
