Overview

Our client are a Global organisation urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team based in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an accurate and effective Accounts Payable function, managing a small team processing invoices per month for UK units, group functions, UK central areas and two subsidiaries. You will be tasked to keep evolving the purchase ledger department therefore required to continually develop and improve existing processes and the wider team. Duties: Develop and lead a high performing team, creating meaningful and action-orientated personal development plans for all direct reports Liaise with the various finance points of contactand other UK central departments ensuring current purchase to pay processes are understood providing training and support where required Ensuring the integrity and reliability of all sub-ledger accounts overseeing monthly supplier statement reconciliations, investigating debit balances and liaising with all stakeholders ensuring open ledger items are resolved Develop, implement and maintain systems, policies, and procedures, reviewing for opportunities to improve current processes. Prepare and manage all payment runs, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring that payments are made within the UK delegated authorities limits, and within credit terms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive minded Accounts Payable Manager, experienced leading small teams and will have a proven track record in driving efficiency improvements within their department. They will be technically competent with proven up-to-date knowledge of purchase to pay requirements with the ability to demonstrate achievements in problem-solving and process improvement.
