Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking for equity in one of the UK's most exciting scale-up businesses? Do you want to work in a product focused team, that genuinely care about shipping good quality code? Then this could be the Senior Software Engineer role for you. We are working with an exciting eCommerce that is taking the design industry by storm Their product has been revolutionary for their target audience, which has seen huge volumes of professionals flock to use it daily. Key to their success has been a shared company vision, where everyone in the Engineering team, and wider business, have had a strong product focus. They are now looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer, and willing to offer significant equity to anyone who joins now The role will require you to take ownership of projects and make key technical decisions. You will predominately be focused on the front-end of their application which is built in React. That said, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to work across their full-stack - the back-end is built in Python, they are about to implement GraphQL and it's all hosted on AWS. There is no need for prior experience with this tech, just a willingness and aptitude for learning. This is a team that care passionately about engineering standards - they test to high standards, are keen advocates of pair programming and deploy daily using modern CI/CD pipelines. This role has potential to quickly evolve into a Tech Lead role. They are planning to set up a third squad later this year, and the opportunity will be there for you to lead that if all goes well. In the meantime, they will give you plenty of training around coaching and architectural decision making to ensure you are ready.
