Portfolio Support Officer x3 1 year Fixed Term Contract £25,400 - £32,400 per annum Coventry, Harrogate, Durham, Homeworking I am currently working with an ever growing public sector organisation that is looking to add 3 Portfolio Support Officers to their team. The client is looking for individuals who have experience of working in an Agile Development environment, have a proven track record of project support within a technical setting and have the ability to identify and advise on problems that could delay programmes of work. A minimum of CTC is needed to be considered for this role Purpose Provide professional portfolio and project management support and advice, applying Standards, scoping requirements against agreed deliverables and monitoring progress to enable successful delivery and implementation for departmental and cross-functional projects. Essential Experience -Proven track record of successful project office support, ideally in a complex technical environment and/or in multi-discipline project support teams -Experience in working in an Agile Development environment -Experience of applying whole project lifecycle, from initial concept through all stages to project closure -Experience of developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships and removing unnecessary barriers to service delivery -Ability to analyse, summarise and communicate specifications, statistics and complex issues quickly and accurately to line managers, stakeholders and suppliers -Ability to spot warning signs of things going wrong and provide an appropriate response to business challenges -Evidence of a customer and business focus, with the ability to provide a service to multiple, diverse and demanding customers -Ability to provide constructive challenge to suppliers and defend an evidence-based position -Excellent standard of planning and organisational ability, able to prioritise own work and the work of others to ensure deadlines are met Essential Training/Qualifications -Foundation Degree or equivalent Level 5 qualification or extensive equivalent experience -PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar project management qualification, or commitment to achieve qualification within six months of appointment -Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development -Vetting level: Either NPPV3 and SC or NPPV2 and CTC, as required by Department/Project Badenoch Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
