End User Delivery Engineer (Contract) Location: Skipton Competitive Salary Realistic Progression Opportunities Technical Training & Development Award Winning Employee Share Plan Company Pension Flexible Working Hours 25 Days Holiday Excellent Working Culture This is a fantastic opportunity for an End User Engineer to join our Computershare Technology Service’s team (CTS) which provide global technology and infrastructure service’s for existing Computershare proprietary software , together with a full range of development services for new products. Job Purpose: As an End User Delivery Engineer, you are part of the infrastructure services environment and team. As part of this team you are focusing on delivery and you are responsible for physical installation of hardware and deployment of applications. Key Accountabilities: W10 build of desktop using SCCM W10 build of laptop using SCCM Deployment of additional software from a predefined list using SCCM Physical installation of desktop hardware Supporting end user post migration - hypercare support Ability to act as a desktop/RSS triage for end user capturing issues Part of a Project team working to targets and milestones/deliverables Updating inventory and following detailed process Essential Experience SCCM for application deployment, package creation and build Physical installation of both desktop and laptops (hands on) Can troubleshoot basic desktop display and functionality issues (mice, keyboard, USB, audio, display, WIFI) Win10 knowledge and support Understanding basic Windows Group policy Supporting office 2016 (o365) Understands a physical office setup from network switch to floor port (via patch panels) Can troubleshoot DHCP and network issues using CMD or Powershell commands A Truly Diverse Place to Work Computershare celebrates the diversity of our people and we welcome applications from everyone.
