Overview

This company, the leading Door Entry and Gate Automation Specialists covering London and the surrounding Counties require an Account Manager to join the team. The successful applicant should have a proven background in new business development/ account management. Experience in electronic and door entry systems is beneficial although full training will be given on systems that they use. The Surveys will cover Automatic Gates and Doors, Door Entry Systems, Access Control Systems and CCTV systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing existing & new client relationships. This position will involve undertaking a certain amount of surveys as well as meeting with new & existing clients to discuss requirements & how this company would be able to assist them. Attention to detail is a must as completing detailed site surveys, creating quotes & producing proposals will be an essential part of the role. You will work closely with the Estimating Department to ensure detailed quotes are created & customer requirements are maintained to high standards at all times. An ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences: - Must have previous electronic and door entry systems experience. - Valid UK Driving License. - Knowledge of CCTV, access control or gate automation systems would be beneficial. - Proven experience in business to business sales, business development and/or account management. - A proven track record in relationship building - Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent written communication skills - The ability to prioritise and multi task - The ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience You will also be provided with a company vehicle (business use only), fuel card, mobile phone (business use only), iPad (business use only), in-house training on company products and 28 days paid holiday inc Bank Holidays. The role will be a mixture of office and field based and you will be expected to travel in and around London and the surrounding areas to clients and different sites.
