Overview
Are you an experienced Cargo Handling Manager working within the haulage, port, freight or logistics sector looking to make your next career move with a leading industry player? In this challenging rewarding role you will oversee the packing of containers with a wide variety of cargo including cars, vehicles and out of gauge cargo. The Role: No two days will be the same, and you will be responsible for identifying developing new revenue opportunities, so an entrepreneurial flare is key. Whilst managing the day to day cargo handling operations, you will be responsible for coaching developing staff, striving for continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for monitoring employee performance including holiday sickness, HSSE standards Budgets, Essential Criteria: Previous cargo handling / out of gauge experience Able to lead a team embrace change Understanding of Port / container terminal operations Customer service focussed Commercially minded Depot Manager | Terminal Manager | Port Operations Manager | Logistics Manager About the Company: Our customer is a leading shipping, logistics transportation company with depots around the UK.
