This secondary school is looking for a committed new team member Biology Teacher post September 2020 Start Multicultural secondary located in Barnet MPS1-UPS3 Permanent, Full-Time Biology Teacher role Biology Teacher Specification The right Biology Teacher candidate will be a self-assured Biology Teacher who has the ability to establish a positive class environment. As a Biology Teacher, you should have the desire and enthusiasm to plan and deliver engaging and in-depth lessons that ensure and achieve excellent exam results. We want to meet Biology Teachers who can ensure that the schools’ high expectations of good behaviour are met by each pupil. Whilst the perfect candidate will have several years of experience as a Biology Teacher, the school are excited to have the capacity to offer an NQT the support that they would require to succeed as a Biology Teacher. About the Biology Teacher Role You will be working in the established Science faculty, surrounded by excellent colleagues. As well as teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, you will be allocated an A-Level class who will depend on you to help them achieve well in exams to keep their options open for when they finish secondary education. As a Biology Teacher, you can expect to enjoy the use of some remarkable teaching resources in this department, which prove extremely effective for pupil engagement and attainment. The Science department remains one of the most popular with pupils and you will be expected to follow the creative ethos of the department.
