Overview
Due to promotion, an established organisation in Cardiff are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The main purpose of the Finance Manager role is to contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives by providing an effective and efficient finance service to the organisation. This role reports to the Finance Director. Finance Manager duties: Supervise and review work of two members of finance team, provide cover in their absence Produce monthly management reporting package for Senior Leadership Team. Ensure all journals correctly posted, balance sheet accounts reconciled in a timely manner and regular housekeeping of financial systems undertaken. Assist in preparation of year end schedules and financial statements. Assist in compilation of annual budget. Supervise the production monthly budget reports. Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and ensure records reconcile with finance system Work with non-financial colleagues to provide information relating to procurement, tendering etc. Finance Manager person specification: Demonstrable experience in the above duties as an Accounts Manager, Senior Finance Officer, Finance Manager etc. Personable with strong communication skills. Excellent relationship building ability. Flexible mindset to assist with other departments where necessary. Strong team values.
