Overview
My client a successful food manufacture are seeing a Packaging Buyer to support the group through a period of maternity cover . The Role Purchasing of packaging an other non food items in lie with Group, Cost and Technical specification Assist with the launch of new food products (SKU's) Take part in group purchasing projects Develop strong relationships with suppliers Keep group up to date with price changes, avalaibility, and agreements Support Packaging Technologists Qualifications Full UK Driving Licence Experience in a similar role Understanding of Food Safety/ HACCP / BRC requirements Excellent communication and relationship building skills Attention to detail Commercial awareness Benefits Salary Very much dependant on experience Based in Barnsley with travel to Barnsley and Customers as required Expenses are fully paid Term 9-12 months 40 hours per week as per the business needs Mach are acting as an agent for this vacancy
