Sourcing & Procurement Manager

Sourcing & Procurement Manager £30,000 Stoke-on-Trent An industry-leading beauty company, who are growing rapidly year on year, are currently looking to recruit a Sourcing & Procurement Manager to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will either have experience in Sourcing & Procurement or great knowledge of the cosmetics & personal care industry in either a Project Management or Sales/Account Management role, where you will have knowledge of different suppliers. Working across multiple projects, you will be responsible for taking enquiries from both Sales & New Product Development teams across the business, before identifying the best suppliers for each project, ensuring to secure the most viable option for the business. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify potential suppliers in the UK & EU for various projects Assessing supplier capabilities, their lead times and costings. Ensuring to source the most commercially viable option. Making recommendations based on the commercial analysis as to whether products should be made within own facilities, or subcontracted to suppliers Understanding critical paths, working to tight deadlines and coordinating across different teams across the business Key Requirements: Experience of UK & EU cosmetic or personal care suppliers is advantageous Experience in the procurement industry
