Sourcing Manager

The Company: An experienced Sourcing Manager is needed to join a fast growing, successful, cosmetics company who supply both private label and branded products to leading retailers worldwide. The Role: Utilising historical data, sales reports and trends to plan and implement the sourcing strategy for categories in order to achieve the agreed stock, sales and margin objectives. To establish and maintain effective working business relationships with suppliers. Providing effective management while evaluating and developing the supplier base. Negotiating best-price deals and co-ordinating the supply chain. Build effective working relationships both internally and externally. Supporting the Buyer and contribute to decisions regarding sourcing the product range. Focusing on ideas and solutions that may be of longer-term benefit to profitability. Regular reviews of department performance and identify areas that require improvement. Continuous review of product performance and trends to maximise sales potential. Make decisions on sourcing actions and developing existing best-sellers. Ensure range plans are updated and product, design, colour and fabric briefs are completed in full to agreed dates within critical path. Skills Required: MUST have 3-5 years experience within a similar role. Able to develop strong relationships with key customers. Experience working in a fast paced environment. Exceptional communication, organisational and presentation skills. Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated. A flexible attitude to the challenges of a developing business.
