Overview

Our client is a well-established recognised financial services organisation with Global presence. The client is now looking for a passionate Senior IT Support Engineer professional to join their team to provide infrastructure support to their business. We are looking for an experience IT professional who can support our client current IT infrastructure, desktop support and core equipment including the management of end users, customers and internal support. The infrastructure consists of MS Windows Server environment. Responsibilities include running network diagnostic tools, comparative analysis, and customer communication, compiling information, repairing hardware and software, and deploying new systems. You will be required to have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of MS Windows support, networks and administration. You will need to have the ability to ‘hit the ground running’ and work with minimum supervision. Working with a variety of technologies, the client is looking for the successful candidate to work closely with the business stakeholders and eventually take ownership on small IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility to provide infrastructure support on a Microsoft Windows Server environment. Core skills will include Active Directory, VMWare, MS Exchange, MS Server support, Networking (ideally Cisco), and ideally you to show that you're keen on gaining project management skills. You must have either Microsoft, CCNA or VCP accreditation. The infrastructure is complex and they are currently running a variety of technologies. This is role a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their technical skill set have the opportunity to work with variety of technologies. Any team leadership would give you a distinct advantage but not totally essential This is a fantastic role where you will need to have a high degree of energy, enthusiasm and commitment to succeed.
